Accord sounds...

The Accord was established from the youngest generation of musicians. During their seven years of playing together they have roamed almost all over the world.

One of the main aims of the Accord is to approach the young generation with their music, so they also appeared particular places like the Kultiplex (Budapest), the „Ferenciek tere” metrostation, or an empty pool of a spa (Dandár Spa, Budapest). Communication with the audience is also taken seriously, an introduction made by Mátyás Ölveti, and they always expect people from the audience after concert. They feel that playing hungarian contemporary music is an important part of their occupation, the numerous quartet dedications to Accord by composers like Gyula FEKETE, Péter ZOMBOLA, Árpád KÁKONYI is a result of that.

The member of the quartet feel lucky because they have had many possibilities to participate in competitions and to play on concerts- they want to thank it with hard work. In the opinion of Csongor Veér they try to handle their connections consciously. As he draws, the quartet has four managers: the four members; but slowly it’s getting difficult and probably they are going to need a real one...
